The Palm Tree Barn sits right on Whittlesey Ave, on the outskirts of Norwalk as you head into Milan. This 30'x60' barn sits on a small farm that transforms into the absolute best venue you could ask for on your wedding day. The barn itself is large enough to seat groups of up to 125, with an expanded covered patio that can increase that capacity up to 250. This makes it a perfect spot for both smaller and medium-sized weddings!
The property also contains a vast outdoor area, with a large open lawn that is perfect for an outdoor ceremony, outdoor niceties like a Silo that's been renovated into a bar, a truck that makes a cute photo-op, and a large firepit where you can wind down at the end of the night.
Having the barn space, outdoor space, and covered patio space makes it a very flexible venue for people who want to do all-day events. When my brother got married here, he had his ceremony out in the yard, set up all the guests in the covered patio, and utilized the inside of the barn for the catering and dance floor. Two weeks later, when I returned to shoot a wedding, the ceremony had taken place at a church in a different location, meaning the space was configured instead just to hold the ceremony. Both times, people loved having the cool photo-ops in the area, and the decor of the room as drop-dead gorgeous!
Palm Tree Barn sprinted to the top of our favorite venues from the moment I stepped foot onto it the first time. It's definitely one of the coolest venues in town. Want to look into it some more? You can visit their website here.
