Millsite Lodge sits right on the edge of Castalia and Sandusky, on a large 24 acre plot of land surround by trees and open land. This cozy Lodge sports not only all the amenities you could want in a venue, including lodging, multiple venue options and included catering, but it does so at a wonderfully lovely location.
Entering Millsite Lodge, the first thing you will notice is the long driveway flanked by rows of perfectly pruned pine trees. These trees make for some of the best photographs you've ever seen, and are great for doing group shots or solos alike. At the end of the driveway sits a large lodge as well as a number of other locations. The lodge includes enough housing to sleep in excess of 30 people, so you'll definitely be able to fit your entire wedding party into the building the night before. The lodge features a small game room, with entertainment such as pool and TV, a full sized kitchen with everything you need to make a killer meal, and plenty of spaces for indoor living.
As far as venues go, there are many options, For your ceremony, there's endless options for how you want the backdrop of the ceremony to be, since the land is very open and you can put down your seating almost anywhere. Want it under the covered patio? Done. Want it to overlook Castalia's famous Cold Creek? No problem. Want to look out over the fields? Sure. And when it comes to the reception, you can either go with their covered patio, which can seat up to 300 guests, or their newly built indoor option, the barn, which can seat over 200 guests.
